- 24/7 proactive server health monitoring. Optimal's fully-staffed Network Operations Center monitors backup jobs, virus protection, server availability, utilization, event logs, and other critical health parameters. This constant watch provides key health statistics, and utilization and uptime data, which help to inform our response strategies.
- Response and remediation.ServerGuardsmincludes the immediate response and remediation of any critical issues that can be handled remotely. It also includes identification and implementation of configuration changes that are important to maintain proper server functioning. Optimal’s team is proactively responding to data acquired from the 24/7 monitoring to prevent issues from becoming catastrophes.
- Critical patch application and management. We apply Microsoft’s server patches on a on a consistent monthly cycle, including a review and test of each critical patch by our Advanced Security Group. You can rest assured that your server is patched and protected from the latest hacker threats.
- Management of your server (optional). Optimal will manage the creation and configuration of your permissions, folders, lists, users and security—even email and Exchange public folders. This full server management is included with our OptimalGuardiansm Comprehensive service.
- Hardware and software inventories. All ServerGuardsm clients receive documentation of their system inventories. The Optimal team pulls this information from the Microsoft Windows Management Interface and will, upon request, run management reports to help you plan for future improvements.
